10/7/25 - After almost 25 years serving the local hair loss community, it is with mixed feelings I announce that Alternative Hair Salon is now permanently closed. “Thank you” is not sufficient to express the gratitude I have for the support the salon has received from local oncology departments, doctors’ offices, hair salons and those that found me on their own.
But after decades of helping women find wigs they feel great in, I couldn’t walk away completely. I’m continuing to teach the wig business, and I still wanted to offer something special to those wearing wigs - a way to get the same beautiful wigs at half the price, without the salon overhead.
