Remove "Box Set"
Includes shipping. Have you ever taken a brand new wig from it’s box, expecting it to look just like it did on the model but it looked somewhat or even like an entirely different style? Some of that could be attributed to the photo shoot styling, but many times it’s because your new wig is - unavoidably - box set.
Flat on the top, back or one side, sides curving in toward your chin instead of a slight bend, the top falling forward, a weird wave or bump where it should be straight are all examples of box set and it’s common with all 3 types of wigs - synthetics, blends and human hair. If your wig is human hair, it might come with what looks like pin curls and have somewhat of a chemical factory smell.
With this service, your wig is taken from box set to beautiful by doing what’s necessary to make it wearable right from the box, as much as is possible. With human hair wigs/toppers, it may become very slightly box set in transit to you from the salon, but will still be much better than if it arrived from the manufacturer.
For a synthetic or blend wig, usually steaming/flat ironing and/or other techniques are needed to remove box set.
With a human hair wig, a shampoo, condition and styling are nearly always required. The extra time and expertise involved are reflected in the pricing. Curly/wavy styling is not included.

This service is available only for wigs and toppers purchased from My Wig Coach and Alternative Hair.
NOTE: Once this customization is done, the wig cannot be returned. If you’ve never tried a certain style or color before, it’s recommended (though not necessary) to purchase the wig first, try on to make certain the fit/style/color suit you, then return to me for the customization.
